Tigh Mor, with breathtaking views over the Stirling Carse

New for 2014, this fabulous holiday house has a large open plan lounge with dining area and kitchen area, a utility/boot room, 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, and breathtaking views over the Stirling Carse

Tigh Mor is a large single story house built on the foot pint of an old farm steading.

The living area is 8 meters squared so plenty of room for all!  We have a Morso woodburning stove, 3 large sofas and a large dining table which will comfortably seat 8, oh and also a large flat screen TV with freeview.  The views from this rooms are simply breathtaking they all over look our farmland on the Carse of Stirling towards the surrounding hills and mountains.  We have french windows overlooking a large patio which is sheltered and a sun trap (for when the sun shines), we have full height hand made oak windows on either side of the woodburner, enjoying stunning views to the west looking directly towards the Gargunnock hills, and to the north west we have cottage style windows which look directly to the hills and mountains of the Trossachs.

There is Wi-Fi throughout the house.

In the kitchen area which leads directly from the living area there is an oak style kitchen with granite worktop, an integrated dishwasher, fridge freezer, and a bosch electric oven, hob, and microwave.

Leading from the front hall there is a utility/boot room which houses a washing machine and tumble drier, plenty of space for coat hanging and boots.

4 bedrooms, freshly made up with cotton linen for your arrival.

The Master bedroom has a kingsize bed, fitted mirror wardrobes and ensuite shower room, it has stunning views facing east and so is ideally positioned for the morning sun.

We have one large twin room with zip and link twin single beds making a super king bed which we can arrange according to your requirements, this room also has fitted mirror wardrobes and an ensuite shower room.

Another large twin room with fitted mirror wardrobes, it has no ensuite, but is located next to the main bathroom, this room has stunning views over to the Trosssachs and is ideally portioned for sunset views.

Our fourth bedroom is the smallest but still has plenty of room for twin beds, fitted mirror wardrobe and it’s on ensuite shower room.

The main family bathroom has a bath and a separate large shower and is suitable for the disabled with grab rails and turning space for a wheel chair.

The fabric for our curtains, blinds, occasional chairs, cushions come from Voyage, a contemporary Scottish design company whom we simply fell in love with!

Tigh Mor is wheelchair accessible  with a ramp up to the front door, level access throughout the house, grab rails and plenty of room in the main bathroom and level access onto the patio.

Included in the price is all electricity, heating, logs for the fire, linen, towels and Wi-Fi.

Fresh flowers and a welcome tray await your arrival, as do we!  We look forward to welcoming guests to this wonderful new holiday home!

We were very touched recently when one of our lovely guests kindly left a poem they had written during their holiday spent in Tigh Mor!

We command for a moment a wide realm
Where thick woollen carpets
Give way to ripening oats
Where the windows touch the ground
And the flat plains beyond
Change with every cloud
Golden for a day of wealth
Grey for a day of thought
Bright for the fledging birds
The hare and the lowing herds.
